OPEN SPACES ISSUE 04

Our fourth issue explores the idea of being in transit, through various physical mediums of mobility but also metaphorically, by being in transit in this lifetime. 

Asia emerges as a central motif across many of our articles: from horseback riding in the grasslands of Mongolia, a multi-sensorial train ride along the Sri Lankan coast, slowing down the pace in Okinawa, Japan  to a land art festival in the mountains of Sa Ladakh in India. We swim through an intimate personal essay on the awe of open-water swimming and discuss the intricate relationship between nature, art and technology in an interview with the artist duo Drift.
